Follow these steps to update the bios on your Matebook X Pro. 1: Download fwupd fromgit clonecd fwupd/contrib/firmware-packager. 2: Install gcab, 7z and Python3sudo apt install gcab p7zip-full python3. 3: Download the BIOS firmware.zip from Huawei’s official website. 4: Extract the BIOS zip file into the firmware-packager folder.

Reboot the Matebook and you will see a boot option to boot into Remix OS or Windows ### You also need to boot into BIOS (to do this you must hold volume up and power button together until Matebook turns on but continue holding volume up until you get into BIOS) You need to Disabled Secure Boot and TPM in BIOS - Save changes and Exit. Enable USB Boot in BIOS. Go to the Boot Tab of BIOS setup utility and use the keys to make your computer boot from the USB drive first in the boot sequence.
